A substituted competition approved by the President
Athletes cannot qualify at club competitions

• Qualifying Period:June 30, 2025 to Registration closing date 2026.

• Bodyweight Category Changes can only be requested at, or prior, to the Technical Meeting; not at weigh-in,

Requirements / Exigences:

WCHM membership, and Provincial Weightlifting Association memberships prior to registering.

Please note:

On January 14, 2026, the WCHM Board approved a revised qualifying totals/standard for the 2026 Canadian Masters Weightlifting Championships.  It reflects both the new IWF bodyweight categories and based upon "80% of the Qualifying Total of the current IMWA World Masters Weightlifting Championship."   

Le 14 janvier 2026, le conseil d'administration de la WCHM a approuvé un totaux de qualification/norme révisé pour les Championnats canadiens Masters d'haltérophilie 2026.  Cela reflète à la fois les nouvelles catégories de poids corporel de l'IWF et basé sur « 80% du total de qualification du championnat du monde IMWA Masters Weightlifting actuel. »
