THE PRESIDENT’S ATTOLLO AWARD  (2023.07.12)

 

The Attollo Award acknowledges the competitive participation and/or success of a WCHM member at select Masters Weightlifting Competitions.  “Attollo” is a Latin word meaning to lift up or be exalted to a higher position. Attollo recipients have demonstrated their resolve in rising to a higher level of competition and in doing so, proudly represented Weightlifting Canada Haltérophilie Masters. Applicants must be current members.

 

ATTOLLO GOLD MEDAL PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATE CRITERIA:

 

Gold medal placement in three of these four weightlifting championships:  the member’s Provincial Masters Weightlifting Championships at which time the athlete was already a member of WCHM, the Canadian Masters, the Pan American Masters and the World Masters. The member does not have to be in the same age and bodyweight category at these Championships but the Championships must have taken place within the same calendar year.

 

ATTOLLO PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATE CRITERIA:

 

Participation in three of these four weightlifting championships:  the member’s Provincial Masters Weightlifting Championships at which time the athlete was already a member of WCHM, the Canadian Masters, the Pan American Masters and the World Masters. The member does not have to be in the same age and bodyweight category at these Championships but the Championships must have taken place within the same calendar year.

 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE AND DEADLINE:

 

To receive an Attollo Certificate, the member must contact the Weightlifting Canada Haltérophilie Masters President with the necessary information (competition name, age and bodyweight category and results).  After the information has been verified, the member’s Attollo Certificate will be issued, signed by WCHM President and mailed to the member’s email address. All information must be provided to the President before the April 30.

Le Prix Attollo reconnait la participation compétitive et/ou le succès d’un membre de la WCHM à des compétitions d’haltérophilie Maîtres précises.  “Attollo” est un mot latin qui veut dire se soulever ou être exhalté à une plus haute position. Les récipiendaires Attollo ont démontré leur résolution à s’élever à un niveau plus haut de compétition et en faisant cela, représente fièrement la Weightlifting Canada Haltérophilie Masters.  Les candidats doivent être membres actuels.

 

CRITÈRES DU CERTIFICAT DE PERFORMANCE MÉDAILLE D’OR ATTOLLO:

 

Le placement de Médaille d’Or dans trois de ces quatre championnats d’haltérophilie:  les championnats provinciaux d’haltérophilie Maîtres du membre à condition que le membre était déjà membre de la WCHM, les championnats canadiens Maîtres, les championnats panaméricains Maîtres et les championnats mondiaux Maîtres. Le membre ne doit pas être dans la même catégorie d’âge et de poids à ces championnats mais ces championnats doivent avoir eu lieu dans la même année calendrier.

PROCÉDURE D’APPLICATION ET DATE LIMITE:

 

Pour recevoir un Certificat Attollo, le membre doit contacter le Président de la Weightlifting Canada Haltérophilie Masters avec l’information nécessaire (nom de la compétition, âge et catégorie de poids et résultats).  Après que cette information a été vérifiée, le Certificat Attollo du membre sera envoyé, signé par le Président de la WCHM et posté à l’adresse du membre. Toute l’information doit être fournie au Président avant le 30 avril.
